It’s one thing to kill time at the airport on a layover, but I’ve got even more creative ways to take advantage of your connecting flight.
One little-known secret is called a “stopover flight,” which lets you spend a few days in your connecting city.
If you’ve only got a long layover, you could still be in luck. In places like Singapore, Amsterdam, and London, you can book a tour to get you out of the airport and into the city for a few hours.
While it’s a no-brainer that connecting flights can often be cheaper than non-stop, a new tool is taking it to the next level. Skypicker can get the lowest price by finding connections that other search engines wouldn’t even consider.
It could result in very long travel times, but if that means adding a day in your connecting city, why not?
