Despite Rising Airfares, You Can Still Save on Thanksgiving Travel

Today, I went on CBS This Morning to talk about holiday travel—and what you need to do to get the best airfare rates. Let’s start with the bad news. Combined, airlines made $3.6 billion, which represents a 64 percent increase over the last year. But don’t get discouraged—there’s a way you can outsmart the process this year and get the best rates. It’s not just about what day you book—it’s also about which days you fly.
