Buenos Aires has been called one of the sexiest cities in the world. Perhaps it’s the provocative tangos and never-ending Malbec wines.

After dinner, set off to a milonga (local tango club) with your loved one and celebrate into the wee hours. Remember, clubs here don’t get started until midnight.

For a more intimate alternative, head to the waterfront in Puerto Madero and pop that important question under a starlit sky on the Puente de la Mujer. Set the mood for romance the next morning with a visit to Cafe Tortoni, the oldest coffee shop in the country.
