If you tend to get carried away with shopping when you travel, there are some ways to help ease the burden.
Bags to Go in Las Vegas, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale offers an offsite baggage checking service. That means you can check your luggage from your hotel, convention center, car rental agency, or cruise terminal long before you get to the airport terminal.
The company also teamed up with Sawgrass Mills in Florida, so you have the option of storing, shipping or checking your purchases…and you’re free to continue shopping!
At London’s Gatwick airport, you can shop all you want before flying anywhere in the EU. Just leave your purchases at the Shop & Drop service, and when you return, you pick up the items. Of course, getting them back to the U.S. is another story.
Of course, plenty of airports now have shipping centers in the terminal. Just be forewarned that you have to pay for everything, including the box and packing materials. And if you’re in a hurry and don’t pack your items correctly, the shipper won’t be liable for any damage.
