Airlines & Hotels Push Against Online Travel Agencies
There’s a big battle brewing between the OTAs (Online Travel Agencies)—such as TripAdvisor, Expedia, and many others—and the suppliers, the airlines, and the hotels. Why are some airlines pulling their schedules and fares from many OTAs, while at least one airline is charging an $18 fee for bookings on third party websites? Why is the battle heating up with the OTAs and the major hotel chains? It may not be a pretty picture for consumers. See my report on CBS This Morning.
