Miss TSA 2011: Invasive TSA Scanners Inspire Sarcastic Pin-Up Calendar
Wondering what to send Transportation Security Administration (TSA) chief John Pistole for Christmas?
Here’s one option: the Internet has been teeming with copies of the 2011 Miss TSA Holiday Pin-up Calendar.
The calendar shows 12 sexy, skeletal months of X-rayed beauties that mimic the controversial full-body scan images that are being taken in U.S. airports.
The calendar, which first appeared on Outburst.com, is actually the work of an unknown trickster, who rebranded a calendar originally created for a Japanese technology company, Eizo Nanao Corporation.
Eizo is a manufacturer of high-end computer displays, and the calendar was created to promote a line of computer monitors for physicians.

After full-body scanners became big news, Eizo’s calendar found new life as a not-so-subtle jab at the TSA’s “Virtual Strip Search” technology.
For those who want their own collection, the calendars are being sold on eBay in the U.K. for a whopping $108.32 a piece.
