As any frequent flyer will tell you, it’s tough enough to get into overcrowded airport lounges where you’re already a member, and the waiting lines sort of defeat the purpose you joined the club in the first place. But there’s another caution about the overcrowded lounges. 

They have now become targets for thieves taking advantage of the sea of humanity in those lounges. 

You already know the admonition of never leaving your stuff unattended at the airport, but that now applies to lounges as well. So whether you’re grabbing a snack, pouring another cup of coffee, or making a quick trip to the restroom, never leave your valuables behind. Lounges may be called private, but they are really a public space. 

If you’re getting up, your valuables should be getting up with you.
