Countries That Will Pay You to Move There

More and more Americans are leaving the U.S. — not just to vacation, but to live. And a number of countries may actually pay you to move there.

Spain will pay up to $17,000 not just to move there, but to live in depopulated villages in Asturias and Galicia.

Moving with kids? Japan will offer up to $7,500 per child and, in some cases, a free renovated home.

If you’re under 45, Switzerland is offering up to $30,000 to move to a village.

If you want to live in Calabria, Italy will pay up to $30,000, plus $800 a month.

Of course, there are some restrictions.
