In Chattanooga, Tennessee, Hotel Chalet lets you sleep in one of 12 refurbished rail cars.

In Indianapolis, the Crowne Plaza Union Station has authentic train cars parked inside a historic station, with rooms starting at about $150 a night.

And in Dunsmuir, California, Jubilee Railroad is an entire wilderness lodge and restaurant built from eight authentic rail coaches.
