A growing number of airports are now adding outdoor terraces and open-air spaces that any ticketed passenger can use for free.

At LaGuardia Terminal C, there’s a Sky Deck outdoor terrace with airfield views.

In Austin, Texas, the Barbara Jordan Terminal has a free outdoor patio with lounge chairs.

San Francisco’s International Terminal has an outdoor terrace with a 180-degree view of the airfield, also free.

And Pittsburgh’s newest terminal has four outdoor terraces for passengers.
