International Travel: Americans Reconsider Overseas Trips

How are the war in Iran and the general world economy impacting American travel overseas?

The latest research reveals that 25% of U.S. travelers say they are now less likely to travel internationally. And 39% say they will postpone their international trips.

Another 19% say they’ll cancel foreign travel. And perhaps most significant, 37% say they will replace an international trip with a domestic one.

Now for some good news: 90% of those surveyed indicate they still have travel plans to go somewhere within the next six months. When or where is still a mystery.
