Congratulations to this week’s photo winner, Theodora Rello!
Theodora writes, “Walking around Monte Carlo, we came upon this very interesting sculpture!”
The sculpture is titled “La Main Division III – Ludus” by French artist Bernard Bezzina. Created in bronze in 2017, the giant, cracked hand holding a delicate globe symbolizes the juxtaposition of strength and fragility, encouraging reflection on the future and the environment. Located on the Opéra de Monte-Carlo’s west esplanade, it is positioned along the waterfront near the renowned Monte-Carlo Casino.
