The Essentials
Least Stressful Airports in the U.S.
If you’re like me, you don’t get excited about going to an airport, but you look forward to getting through it so you can leave town.
But increasingly airports are stressful experiences. So which are the least stressful airports in the U.S.? The latest rankings are in.
Topping the list for the least amount of stress: Minneapolis–St. Paul. It earned points for having reasonable car parking fees, and it’s just a 20 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. Phoenix Sky Harbor came in high on the low stress scale — with just an 11 minute drive from downtown.
And another low stress experience — San Francisco International. The drive downtown at most times of the day is just 18 minutes, but the other reason it ranked high on the low stress scale because 81% of the flights at SFO departed on time.
