All too often, what is listed online as a legitimate flight connection time is not.

I’ve seen schedules you can officially book with a 33 minute connect time between flights.

That’s both impossible and absurd.

It presumes your first flight will be on time, and that your arrival gate will be right next to your connecting flight’s departing gate.

And we all know that doesn’t happen.

Even on domestic flights, always give yourself at least two hours between those connecting flights.

While that 33 minute connect time might be considered legal, it’s not a smart move.
