Tracie writes, “We live in northern Michigan, where it’s 15 degrees with about three feet of snow. This photo was taken this summer outside of Munising, MI on Lake Superior at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The rock formation is called Miner’s Castle. Unfortunately due to the cuts at the NPS, there were few staff, and no one to collect admission fees, clean the bathrooms or empty garbage cans. The staff who were still there were doing their best.”
