Chase Travel has released its annual list of top destinations for 2026, highlighting several unexpected picks. Leading the list are the Albanian Riviera, Botswana, the Canadian Arctic and the Dolomites.

The list also emphasizes experiential travel, including road trips along historic Route 66 to mark its 100th anniversary. Natural phenomena are another major theme, from solar eclipse viewing in Spain’s Basque Country to stargazing in Chile’s Atacama Desert.

Wildlife experiences, such as whale migrations off the island nation of Dominica, also feature prominently.
