Flying With a Wheelchair? These Airlines Handle It Best

It seems more and more airlines are mishandling, or damaging, wheelchairs and scooters belonging to passengers with mobility issues.

But a recent study from Insure My Trip looked at U.S. Department of Transportation data, and has ranked the best and worst airlines for those traveling in a wheelchair.

Scoring best — for least number of mishandled wheelchairs — JetBlue, followed by Delta and Alaska Air.

But the airlines coming in at the bottom? Frontier, and American.

It should be noted that last year, the DOT fined American a whopping $50 million for its treatment of wheelchair users.
