With few exceptions, 747s no longer fly in the US.
A few airlines fly the original jumbo from the US — like Lufthansa and Korean Air.
But what about the A380, the largest passenger plane ever built? Production stopped on the A380 in 2021.
Emirates has the most A380s at 95 operational, and All Nippon Airways has only two that are operational.
And even though the plane was designed for ultra-long haul routes, you can still fly the A380. How about Bangkok to Hong Kong on Emirates — just about three hours. Or Seoul to Tokyo — two hours and 20 minutes. Long haul? Auckland to Dubai at 17 hours plus.
