The next time you want to buy an airline ticket online, I have a warning for you. It is not a question of where you book your ticket but how you book that online ticket.

It’s all about something called incognito mode, also called privacy browsing.

And what that does is create an online session that is separate from your main browsing. This prevents sites from being able to use cookies to track your searches and know your preferences. This can sometimes result in higher fares when you go back to book that desired flight you might have found earlier.

So always make sure to delete your search history and clear your cookies when you’re done with your first search. Or you can do what I do.
