Get ready for more delays this summer as more people will be flying than ever before.
So which airports have the best and worst on-time performance for the summer? And how does your local airport stack up?
New Jersey’s Newark Liberty is the worst for on-time summer performance with only 67% of arrivals showing up on time.
Not surprisingly, New York’s LaGuardia comes in second. And third, perhaps a surprise, is San Francisco (morning fog conditions in the summer months delays things considerably).
Other poor performing on-time arrival airports include JFK, Boston and of course, Chicago’s O’Hare.
Which airports have the best on-time arrival rates?
Honolulu is number one–nearly 87% of all airport arrivals are on time. Salt Lake City comes in number two and Southern California’s Orange County is third.
