Smart Hotels Come with Privacy Concerns: A CBS This Morning Report

Hotels are getting more high-tech, but at what cost? Peter Greenberg joined CBS This Morning to discuss the latest tech trends and the privacy concerns that come along with them.

From voice activated commands that can turn off your lights and television to creating a personal profile that lets you project your own photos on the walls, the Marriott Hotels Headquarters showed off some smart features.

You can now jot down your thoughts on a fogged up mirror and have those thoughts emailed to you or you can access your room from your smartphone.

But be careful because the Bluetooth signal might be unencrypted and could be hacked. Not only can your locations be tracked but your digital signature can also be stolen.

Take a look at Peter’s CBS This Morning segment before you share your personal information at a smart hotel.
