Travel Tip: Apps for Packing, Lost Luggage, and Food Allergies
It’s now time to celebrate even more useful travel-related apps.
And these apps get down to basic common sense—as well as necessity.
PackPoint is an app that makes customized packing lists based on your gender, location, and length of stay.
The app is $2.99 on iTunes and Google Play.
Another useful app for iPhone users who are packing-challenged is Travel List.
It helps organize the items you put in your suitcase, including reminders of things you frequently forget to include.
Speaking of luggage, there’s something called HomingPIN.
It’s a global lost property recovery system. You get a special bag tag, and it literally tracks and traces lost items.
If you have food allergies, you might need AllergyEats.
It’s a free peer-based community app that lists more than 825,000 restaurants nationwide based on how well these establishments accommodate diners with food allergies.
The app is free on both iTunes and Google Play.
