drivingTaking a long drive or a long flight? The length of time you sit can carry some huge consequences.

The most recent studies about sedentary behavior show that when you sit for extended periods of time, you raise the risk for dozens of chronic conditions, from cancer and diabetes to cardiovascular disease.

Keep in mind that standing burns about one calorie more per minute than sitting. In four hours, that’s 240 calories burned!
