Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

 idaho

The city of Coeur d’Alene sits on the Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, and has the second largest metropolitan area in Idaho. The region is surrounded by more than 55 glacial lakes, and there are plenty of waterfront activities within driving distance, such as fly-fishing to kayaking. Because of its proximity to the state, Coeur d’Alene is an easy base camp replacement for Washington cities. There are great deals coming up, such as the Wine Extravaganza on Saturday April 26.

During that time, the Coeur d’Alene Resort is offering a special package for $110 per person. The package includes overnight accommodations at the resort, two ticket packs to Wine Extravaganza Events, and a Sunday Champagne Brunch for two at Dockside Restaurant. Guests will also receive an in-room Fruit & Cheese Plate created by the resort sommelier and a split of CDA Label red wine.

Getting There: The Spokane, Washington International Airport is just 40 minutes west of Coeur d’Alene with non-stop flights arriving daily from many U.S. cities. Amtrak is stationed in Spokane, WA, just 30 miles west of Coeur d’Alene.
