For Moms on the West Coast

Set high on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, The Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa makes the most of its ocean view location for Mother’s Day. On Saturday, May 11 from 10:30 am 4:30 pm they are offering a Mimosas & Makeovers Mommy and me package. Treat yourself and your child to their unique cashmere massage. They will also be hosting complimentary makeovers, eyebrow threading, non-invasive brow lifts, under-eye brightening, eyebrow shaping and free mimosas. Then check out the champagne brunch in Vue Restaurant which includes live entertainment, a special rose for mom, 5 X 7 family photo and cool food like Normandy crepes, a seafood mosaic, Mongolian barbecue, gourmet macaroni and cheese, and more.

For Moms on the East Coast

For a more active and adventurous Mother’s Day Getaway, Tremont Suites Hotel in Baltimore is offering a Family Fun Pack. It includes overnight accommodations in a one bedroom suite: Mom gets the King while kids sleep on the pull-out. There are activity books, crayons, and playing cards for the kids. Mom are hooked up with a bubble bath with chocolate strawberries. Then after a wake up breakfast you and your children can enjoy a full weekend of activities including a tour of the Inner Harbor, Walters Art Museum, the National Aquarium, and the Science Center.

This May the lodge is offering a Mother’s Day Package with something for moms and kids. Kids will appreciate the four waterpark passes to Moose Mountain Falls. Moms will recover with a 20 percent discount on spa services and a lavender-scented eye mask. In addition, Timber Ridge’s Activity Center will host special arts and crafts all weekend to keep kids occupied, including scavenger hunts, cookie decorating, and present-making.
