You know Telluride, Colorado for skiing and on New Year’s, they have a gorgeous torchlight parade of skiers descending down the mountain. It looks like lava flowing down the mountain which you can see from Mountain Village at dusk, followed by a fireworks show. In a typical season about 120-150 skiers and snowboarders participate in the torchlight parade. You can see the parade from Mountain Village—just look up from the base of Lift 4 at dusk.
