Chile is on the road to recovery after 2010’s devastating earthquake. Plus, Chile is still undiscovered for many Americans and it has plenty to offer those who want to make the trek down to South America.
Aconcagua and Colchagua are putting Chilean wine on the map. Santiago Adventures can hook you up with a great overnight trip to wine country, including a trip to Viña Vik, where the winemakers are using high-tech and traditional techniques to create Chile’s first 100-point wine. While 
you’re there you can spend a night on the 800-acres vineyard , meet with the winemakers and sample the first batches of wine straight from the barrel.
Chile is also known skiing and alpine villages. Visitors are also drawn to the lake and volcano districts, the penguin colonies and the capitol of Santiago. Best of all, it’s summer during our winter.
