Fans of Ulysses should aim to hit Dublin on June 16. Known as Bloomsday, Joyceans from around the world gather to spend their day as Leopold Bloom did, tracing his steps through Dublin while eating gorgonzola sandwiches. If you can’t make Bloomsday, you can still take you own tour. There are plaques throughout the city that keep you on track, and a free audio tour from Dublin’s tourism website.

Remember The Da Vinci Code? You can still explore Paris’s famous landmarks as depicted in the book. Walk through Hotel Ritz, the obelisk at Saint Sulpice, and Chateau Villette to follow Robert Landon’s footsteps on his search for the Holy Grail.
