Sure, all the buzz is about the Summer Games in London next year.
But tickets are also going on sale for the Paralympic Games, which will take place the week after.
Between August 29 and September 9, the event will feature 22 athletic events.
We’re talking everything from Judo to swimming, cycling, and wheelchair rugby.
It’s grown so big that in the most recent Summer Paralympics, more than 4,000 athletes from 146 countries competed for the medal.
This is the first time the games will be completely commercialized for the public, but ticket prices can’t be beat. At least 95 percent of the tickets are under £50 or about $85.
And 75 percent of tickets are under £20.
This year organizers have also created group rates and day passes that allow ticket holders to see several events on one day.You can apply for tickets on Paralympic Games tickets on the official website, Paralympic.org.
So far, more than a million people have registered interest in tickets. If supply exceeds demand, a lottery system will go into effect.
