Travel Deals: European Luxury Cruise, Golf Or Gambling

Autumn is just around the corner and that means rates are falling all over the place.

From a European luxury cruising to clubbing it up in Atlantic City to golfing, cooking and other free activities in hotels worldwide, this is the time to lock in your fall vacation.

Read on for our hot deals of the week, whether you’re traveling by land or by sea.

1. MSC Cruises is offering a 50 percent savings for a second guest on seven-night European cruises.

Book a Yacht Club suite onboard the MSC Splendida or MSC Fantasia by August 31, 2011 for sailings through November 6, 2011. Cabin rates start at $2,969 for the first guest and $1,484.50 for the second guest. Rates include accommodations and $100 shipboard credit per person (maximum $200 per suite).

Yacht Club suites include 24-hour butler service, a 24-hour concierge, free wine and spirits, complimentary reservations in a private restaurant, a private sundeck, and a private lounge with afternoon tea service.

2. Fall is one of the best times to visit Atlantic City and deals abound this time of year.

At Caesars Atlantic City, the Dusk Tuesdays Package starts at $85 a night and includes accommodations, $30 beverage credit, admission for two to Dusk Nightclub.

Harrah’s Resort has a Red Door Spa Escape Package, starting at $125 which includes overnight accommodations and $100 salon credit.

3. Fairmont Resort Hotels is offering fall discounts in properties worldwide plus value-added activities. For example:

Or tee off at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle in Miami with the Sands & Seas package, which  includes complimentary green fees, nightly accommodation, valet parking, 20 percent off private cabanas and wave runner rentals, and kids 5 and under and eat free. This package starts from $159 a night through September 30, 2011.

The Fairmont Mayakoba, Riviera Maya, in Chichén Itza, Mexico makes traveling with the family a breeze with the Family Adventure Package. Starting from $299 a night, it includes airport transfers, daily breakfast for two adults and two children, a cooking lesson, and a one-hour boat tour with an ecology expert. A four-night minimum stay is required through December 17, 2011.
