Travel Tips: Hotel Amenities for Kids Under 3

You’ve probably heard about hotel kids clubs. But what if you’ve got a really tiny traveler in tow? Some places are going above and beyond for their VIP guests, ages 3 and under.

Marriott, in partnership with Coverplay, has introduced a baby travel program called Tots Travel Too at five of its brands, including Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott hotels.

This free program provides guests with items like a travel crib, a bathtub gift, nightlights, and covers for electrical sockets.

They even offer disposable bibs in the dining areas.

Westin Hotels’ Kids Clubs provides an infant amenity kit for each child under 3, which includes supplies like bandages and ID bracelets, plus childproofing items and a list of emergency contacts.

Extras like bottle warmers, high chairs, and even jogging strollers are available upon request.
Baby Club Med is designed for kids ages 4 months to 2 years.

Properties might offer daytime activities and evening babysitting services, and—get this—a “baby restaurant” specifically for parents to dine with babies and toddlers.

Not all Club Med locations have a Baby Club-Med, but it’s currently offered in 15 locations worldwide.

And remember not all hotels advertise their services for infants and toddlers.

Call up ahead of time and find out what’s available, and if the hotel is truly family-friendly.
