Travel Tip: How to Make Good Vacation Photos Great
The over 50 percent of Americans who own digital cameras know they can be good for taking and storing vacation photos.
But new software will let you airbrush, photoshop, and crop like a pro.
If you own a Mac computer, you already have iPhoto, which covers the basics like clearing up red-eye and cropping images.
For PCs, Ulead Photo Impact offers side-by-side before-and-after comparisons so you can see what cropping out your ex-boyfriend will do to your composition.
More advanced amateurs might try Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 6, which allows you to layer in text, effects or filters.
Remember, all of these programs offer free downloadable trial versions, so you can play with the programs before you pony up.
