Every year, Skytrax surveys travelers from around the globe to compile its list of the best airports in the world, and for 2024 the honor goes to Qatar’s Hamad International airport, which is known for its ultra-modern design, easy-to-navigate terminals and high-end shopping. We first visited the airport in Doha back in 2019, and shot this Cover Story for The Travel Detective. Since then, Hamad continues to grow, by adding another over-the-top terminal, and has actually improved the overall passenger experience.
