Carol writes, “The Week of January 25 to 31st 2026 was the coldest week for that time frame on record here on Long Island.  Like most of the US, we have been in a deep freeze. Today was the first day above freezing since January 23rd. Dare I say heat wave? This picture was taken in the lovely seaside town of Port Jefferson.”
