This is the time of year when you see all the top 10 lists or surveys that end with the letters -st — as in best, finest, or most. But there’s another list you might want to check out each year. The folks at the Fodor’s guidebooks issue their No List — the destinations you might want to avoid mainly because of overtourism.
On the “No List” for this year: Antarctica, the Canary Islands, even the Montmartre neighborhood in Paris.
Also on the “No List” for 2026: Glacier National Park in Montana, which had 3.2 million visitors last year and is at capacity, the Jungfrau region in Switzerland, and Mexico City.
