I’ve always said that friends don’t let friends fly basic economy because if you choose that ultra-cheap fare, you lose almost all perks and rights.

But now, some airlines are introducing a concept called “Basic Business Class.”

Overseas, Emirates, Finnair, and Qatar Airways have already launched this fare type.

In the U.S., Delta Air Lines is reportedly planning to implement a similar category, which would unbundle pricing and amenities in the front of the plane.

This could affect seat selection, meal options, baggage allowances, and even mileage earned.

What does this mean?

Maybe friends shouldn’t let friends fly basic business class either.
