What you wear and how you wear it can easily get you thrown off your flight.

Every airline has rules embedded in their contracts of carriage that give them the right, as well as the judgment call on what you’re wearing, or not wearing, to deplane you. And what many passengers don’t know is they can also boot you from your flight with no refund.

What constitutes inappropriate dress, that rests with gate agent and flight crew discretion, but for starters crop tops, flip flops and pajamas are often a trigger. So are see through tops, exposed breasts and buttocks, being barefoot and yes even offensive language on T-shirts or body art.
