Where And When To Find Peak Fall Foliage

It’s that fall foliage time of year, but the challenge each year for leaf peepers, is where and when to look for change in colors.

It’s looking like the best time might be between October 10 and 24. And where? Try Bucks County, Pennsylvania, as well as New York’s Hudson Valley, which spans more than 7,000 square miles.

The other fall color candidates: Bretton Woods in New Hampshire, and some surprises — French Lick, Indiana, Boulder, Colorado (for the aspen trees), and out west, the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, and in both California and Nevada, North Lake Tahoe.
