When it comes to one traditional fast food, everyone wants bragging rights…so which U.S. state has the best pizza?

No one really knows.

But…which state eats the most?

One recent poll found that pizza is the favorite food of 21% of Americans.

But who eats the most? The latest research looked at the number of pizzerias per 100,000 residents, and surprise  — folks in New Hampshire eat the most pizza, with nearly 73 pizzerias per 100,000 residents, with an average pizza price of nearly $16.

Ohio is a distant second, with only 35 pizzerias per 100,000 residents, followed by Delaware, Kansas, West Virginia, and Rhode Island.

New York my–  favorite for thin slice pizza — came in a disappointing 29th place!
