I just returned in May from a great first tour of Japan, with Overseas Adventure Travel.
Tokyo, Hakone, Kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima.
That evening in Hakone we had the clearest sky looking across the lake. We had been warned very few see Mt. Fuji in all its glory (clouds are usually the reason).
I took the photo after dinner when we were learning how to paint the Japanese Alphabet. Our group kept leaving the room to take sunset photos of Mt. Fuji as the colors kept changing. This was the best photograph from my tour. Hakone is not an area to be missed when visiting Japan.
