If you’re like me, you don’t go to an airport to relax or shop; you go to get through it and get on your plane. But with increasing delays and cancellations, many U.S. airports have become mini art galleries for passengers.
You can find major art installations at Chicago O’Hare, Atlanta’s Hartsfield, and Washington Dulles. San Francisco International features rotating exhibits, and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport showcases a Paisley Park mural tribute to Prince. In Las Vegas, the “Desert Wildlife” models invite you to climb on a rattlesnake, tortoise, horned lizard, and jack rabbit!
So if you’re going to be delayed, why not enjoy a little airport art?
