When it comes to eating while traveling, there are two oxymorons that come to mind: airline food and airport food.
I can’t help you much when it comes to eating on the plane, but I’m happy to report there is some surprisingly good airport food around the world.
Hamad International Airport in Doha has some of the best dining in the world.
Want to keep it simple? There’s great pizza in Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.
Istanbul’s Airport offers 117 separate dining venues, and most of them are excellent.
And while I would steadfastly avoid airport sushi, the one exception is Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
