How do you measure happiness, especially when you travel?
The latest rankings are out for the happiest cities in Europe, which measure the quality of life of the people living in these cities. Metrics include diversity and inclusion, education opportunities, the state of the environment, local economy and access to public transportation.
This year, the happiest city in Europe is Aarhus. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s actually the second largest city in Denmark, followed by other happiest cities — Zurich and Geneva in Switzerland, Berlin and Munich in Germany, and Gothenburg in Sweden.
