Earlier this year, the European Commission announced it was imposing the requirement of an electronic visa for Americans wishing to travel to any of its 30 countries.

The visa would go into effect on January 1, 2024 and requires paying for it online — about $7.50.

The original date to impose the visas was 2021 but got extended.

Now, the commission has delayed the start again until at least 2025.

The good news is there’s no need for additional paperwork or an additional expense to travel to Europe through 2024.
