In Singapore, you can now buy salmon, even sashimi from vending machines. The fish is kept at temperatures below four degrees Fahrenheit allowing the fish company to ensure a shelf life of almost two years.

Then, there are the new vending machines in Tokyo, which offer something perhaps a little less appetizing. If you’re looking for a quick snack while traveling, these vending machines now offer an array of insect snacks with different species available, from rhino beetles to scorpions.
