Many U.S. airports are going through some renovations that can often challenge the location and the amount of available airport parking spots.
It can often take an hour or more to find a spot – and to add insult to injury, busy travel periods often cause parking premiums to shoot up in price.
You can mitigate the pain by pre-booking parking passes at a reduced rate and paying for them online.
And some airports even allow you to reserve your favorite spot.
At Seattle’s airport, drive-up parking costs $37 a day. But pre-booked runs $27.
At New York’s JFK, the standard drive-up rate for parking can be as high as $80. But pre-booked is $48. That’s a significant difference.
