It’s not an accounting term. Every year a group called Transparency International, a research group, focuses on 180 countries worldwide looking at the CPI — the Corruption Perceptions Index.
Which countries around the world are perceived as being the most corrupt? This is information that could be very helpful in determining where you want to travel — and in many cases.– how you want to travel.
The higher the score, the less corrupt it is.
Denmark, Finland and New Zealand are the least corrupt. It’s followed by Norway, Singapore and Sweden.
At the bottom of the list is Sub-Saharan Africa, where corruption is compounding multiple crises.
And the most corrupt on the list are Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and North Korea.
