World’s Busiest Airports Rank in Delays

It’s not a good statistic. At the world’s 100 busiest airports this year, at least 20% of their flights were delayed.

At some airports, it was even worse.

In the U.S., the airport with the worst delays is Chicago’s Midway, with more than 38% of its flights not leaving on time.

This is followed by Orlando, JFK, and Baltimore.

Two Canadian airports had even worse performances.

At Toronto’s Pearson and Montreal’s Trudeau airports, more than 50% of departing flights were late.

And which airports did well? Try to avoid Tokyo’s Narita airport and instead fly from Tokyo’s Haneda airport because only 8% of its flights were late.
