What annoys you the most on an airline flight, or perhaps more appropriately who annoys you the most?

Before COVID, annoying passenger behavior might be the guy in front of you reclining his chair into your knees or a crying baby.

For many passengers, the annoyances range from the body odor of a seatmate, loud talking, or a kid kicking the back of your seat.

The long-standing bad behaviors are passengers taking their shoes and socks off or clipping their toenails. There’s also the overpowering of cologne or perfume and talking nonstop during the flight.

During the pandemic, the big annoyance was drunk or unruly passengers. But in the most recent survey, one surprise item of traveler annoyance on airplanes made the top ten list — passengers applauding when the plane lands!

That one I can live with. After all, we landed!
