But above all, most of us want an airline that we can depend on. Is it on time?

The Wall Street Journal just released its latest ranking of U.S. airlines — taking into consideration factors like cancellation rates, delays and number and type of passenger complaints.

Delta Air Lines came out on top with the fewest flight cancellations and delays and the most on-time arrivals.

JetBlue dropped to ninth and last place with more extreme flight delays than any other airline.

Last year’s top contender, Southwest, fell to third place. The primary reason is a very low on-time arrival rate.
